meet pamela, from usa.

this week just hasn't been my week. 

for various reasons, mostly health wise. i tried to see a doctor today, but the clinic rejected me because i'm foreign (they didn't out right say this, but it was quite obvious). i have an appointment on friday to see a japanese (english speaking. hell yes!) doctor. i CANNOT WAIT to post some story about THAT experience!

anyway, while my body is rotting away...i did get a very nice message from one of my students:

"dear pamela, hi! i came back from america 3 days ago. in san francisco, i studied english, enjoyed sightseeing, and i was involved in volunteering. and the information from you was very useful, so i could go many famous place in san francisco. before i went to america, i was scared to talk with foreigners. so, i decided to attend your class. it was very fun and exciting for me. i want to practice english more and more! and i would like to be a teacher like you someday. thank you so much!!"

accompanied with a giant bag of ghirardelli chocolates. yum.
