FULL MOON!

the last two weeks were a bit wayward, beginning with the NEW MOON.
just a lot of emotions and high energy.

the internship is taking a week long break this week, so i´m up in Iguazu Falls to explore and find what magic lies here...perfect timing considering today is the FULL MOON. we´re doing a moonlit tour tonight.

everyday is so beautiful and wonderous. the past week had many tropical storms brewing in and around the jungle, with subsequently left some trees fallen around. on friday, we took a trek up through this river that goes along the mama roja property...it finishes with a waterfall. but because of the storms, it knocked down all these trees and vines and spiky things. we went up there and macheted it all away...it was completely exhilerating.

i´m getting along better with the chickens. before i would try my hardest to avoid any and all physical interactions...but now i´m hunting them to get them into their coop at night and lift their bottoms to see if they´ve left any eggy treasures for us. there was some talk about killing one of the roosters because they just got too much testosterone between them (will for sure update if rooster meat is tasty).

other than that, i really really wish i could post pictures...i´ll give it another attempt tonight or tomorrow after the falls. it is quite perfect here. and coming to Igauzu just made my heart melt...people are really nice. the weather is humid and sticky. i think i´ve devloped some sort of tan? i have some sort of color, at least.
